Hey, I’m Brooks!
Discovering how things work has been a lifelong passion for me. Some of my earliest memories include learning how to use tools to take apart old pieces of tech such as a CD player. It wasn’t long before I began to ask myself some simple questions about the person who made those objects. How does it work? Why did they do it like that? How could this be made better? When I discovered Industrial design I was excited to have finally found an entire field that focused on asking these questions.
I use design to solve problems, emphasizing accessibility, engineering/manufacturability, technology integration, and an entrepreneurial mindset. It's not just about making something look good; it's about making sure my designs truly work and fit the needs of those I'm creating for.
Outside of designing, I enjoy biking through Prospect Park in Brooklyn, exploring art galleries in West Village, and embracing new experiences. I am always open to new opportunities that allow me to use my skills to make a difference.
